Information

Below provides some useful and important information for anyone looking to

model or booked on a  photo shoot with me.

Please take time to read this section.

Age

I will not shoot models under 18 years old unless they are accompanied at all times

by a parent or guardian.

All shoots for those under 18 will be age appropriate, this means, I will not shoot

you in the following styles - nude, topless, implied nude / topless, lingerie, or any

pose that may be deemed as provocative or sexual in nature.  I may consider a

swimwear shoot provide that that swimwear is age appropriate and not skimpy or

provocative .

ITS THE LAW!

Any model will be required to provide government issued proof of age unless you

are under 18 and the shoot is on that basis.  ID is either a UK drivers Licence

or passport.

Copies are not acceptable.

Chaperones

I welcome chaperones, however, unless you are under 18 they will be required to

wait off set so as not to distract you. If we are shooting on location this may not be

practical , however,  a helping hand is often welcome.

Studios

Wherever possible I select studios that have proper or at least private changing areas

for models.  For lingerie or nude / topless shoots I recomend bringing a dressing

gown to make you feel more confortable moving  to and from the changing room

to the set.

Time for...    (TF)

You will often see offers of TF shoots,  these are shoots where both the photographer

and model give their time for free, in return the model gains pictures for their

portfolio and so does the photographer.  The images are usually not for commercial

use.

You will see the following:-

TFP - Time for Prints   - actual printed photographs

TFCD / DVD  Time for compact disk / DVD  in stead of prints you get a disk of

retouched images of a high quality so you can print them yourself,  some times the

disk contains images sized for email or web.

This is an excellent way for both new models and experienced models to build their

portfolios or keep them refreshed.

You should only expect to receive between 6-12 fully retouched images. But and

this is important, it has to be a shoot to both the benefit of the photographer and

model. It should not be used as a free way of getting a portfolio. It is a trade off,

youmay only get a few images you actually want from those given, but you have

not had to pay for them. Also if you want to be a fashion model a glamour

photographer  wont offer a TF shoot as it is on no benefit to them.

Some times you will see part paid part TF,  these tend to be for topless or nude

shoots when a model receives a small payment as part of the TF arrangement.

If you want a specific style of portfolio then you will have to pay for it.
